About The AAPI Jazz Collective: The AAPI Jazz Collective, a diverse group of established AAPI identifying jazz musicians and artists, performs classic repertoire from various Asian cultures (including China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand) reimagined within a jazz context. The mission of the band is to celebrate and connect with their respective cultures through music and storytelling. They have performed for Metropolitan Museum’s Lunar New Year Celebration, Asian American Federation, Welcome To Chinatown, Passport to Taiwan Festival, Barclays, AAPI Jazz Fest, Red Pavilion, and for the AAPI Montclair Gala.
